Maker Classes

I occasionally offer small, in-person soapmaking workshops when my production schedule allows.  These are 1.5 to 2 hour foundational classes focused on safety and the fundamentals of cold process soap making.  Because they are small and supply intensive, they typically range from $300-375, depending on the venue.  Classes are not scheduled regularly.  Announcements are made when they occur.

This 20 page soap manual is the same guide used in my soapmaking workshops.  Includes two basic recipes, saponification chart, how to calculate by hand, where to find lye calculators, safety information, formulation tips. Its very comprehensive.

Soapmaking involves the use of sodium hydroxide (lye), which must be handled carefully.  Always follow proper safety procedures and use protective equipment when making soap.

The salve recipe includes info on calendula and how to make infused oils.

Lotion recipe includes info on helichrysum and how to make infused oils.
