Beautiful, non-drying soap made with quince fruit. A friend in Bisbee has a quince tree that’s over 100 years old. She gave me some quince fruit and I made a purée. Quince has such a beautiful aroma! I set about working on the scent. It’s taken me 2 years, but I got SO close. And most of it stayed true through saponification! Amelia Earhart landed in McNeal area around 100yrs ago. That quince tree was already bearing fruit at that time. This coconut-free palm-free soap is made with local grass fed beef tallow, fair trade cocoa butter, babassu oil, fair trade shea butter, argan oil, macadamia nut oil, hemp seed oil, pecan oil, castor oil and organic sunflower seed oil, colloidal oatmeal, cashmere, silk and clay. The unique color is from the quince fruit!! #ilovethatyoulovethis

    My FAVORITE Soap

When Julee told me this was her gentlest soap and that it wouldn't dry the skin, I have to admit I was skeptical. I tried it and IT DOES NOT DRY THE SKIN! I have very dry, sensitive skin. Colorants give me migraines and fragrances make me break out. I don't have a problem with most essential oils, though. This soap lasts me a long time - a couple of months, it is helping my skin heal, it's gentle on my eczema outbreaks and it smells good. The ingredients are also nourishing to the skin, so I think this one shouldn't be missed! :)
