I reformulated TLC today. Don’t worry, it’s still the beautiful, heavier, and very active moisturizer you love, there have just been some adjustments. I added galactoarabinan, the ingredient derived from larch trees that improves moisture retention in skin.
I kept the vitamins and royal jelly. Kept the esters which improve water binding capacity in skin cells. Kept the emulsifier, which is derived from olive oil (this is not the same emulsifier that’s in the body lotions but it is in the same family). Changed the preservative - it’s now the same super-clean preservative we use in the rest of the lotions and creams. Also added prickly pear seed oil and hibiscus seed oil.
TLC is excellent moisture/treatment for more mature and very dry skin. It smells like roses because the entire water phase is rose hydrosol. A few drops of rose blend (Otto, attar & essential oil) and a couple drops of jasmine essential oil.
This is a water in oil emulsion, meaning there’s more oil than water. It’s a great moisturizer for very dry skin. 🙂
